We would like to invite you to come see r o l l , the next step in our ongoing collaboration. It's an intimate piece that evolved out of our interest in combining intuitive moving and mark making. We've been thinking a great deal about how to share this work with an audience and have decided to offer three different times to individuals and small groups (one to ten people) on a reservation basis. All ages are welcome. The performance lasts about an hour.
Here's how it works:
Call Meg [802 447-1475] and make a reservation for one of the three dates.
Wednesday, February 19, 10:30 A.M.
Thursday, February 20, 7:30 P.M.
Saturday, February 22, 7:30 P.M.
If you get an answering machine, please leave a message and Meg will call you back.
Come to where we work, the McLellan residence (the old Frost place) in North Bennington. It's located on the White Creek road 1/10th of a mile North of the junction with Route 67 in North Bennington. Look for a long low white building surrounded by a white fence on the right going north. The driveway is on the corner. We're in the small barn connected to the main house. When you arrive, come in and make yourselves comfortable. There will be cushions and chairs to sit on.
Here's what to expect:
We will already be at work as you enter.
While we work we talk about various subjects and hope to engage you, too, in the conversation. We particularly hope that you will ask questions as we go along. Ask us what you would like to know about what we're doing while we're doing it and we'll answer as we go.
If you would like to change your view point or participate in the moving and mark making, please do so. Both quiet watching and joining in are welcome.
We will end with refreshments and time for reflection on the event and its implications.
To support our work, we would like a voluntary contribution. There will be a hat for donations.
We hope to see you in February,
Meg and Bill
